Alia’s Place
Nestled among the huge banyan trees of the North Shore, climb the stairs into your private cozy tree house retreat. With fantastic ocean views and just a quick walk to some of the most famous surfing spots in Hawaii, you'll relax in this private 2-bedroom cottage. A short walk across the street will put you on the white sands of Rocky Point Beach. Take a stroll in the sand to the right and you'll be on the world famous Sunset Beach, home to one leg of the Triple Crown of Surfing. A left turn and you'll be at the renowned Banzai Pipeline, where the wave turns to a perfect tube to form one of the best surfing waves in the world!
The Space
The main bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed and is equipped with air conditioning for your comfort. The secondary bedroom is small with a pull-out trundle and two cozy single mattresses. There is also a full-size convertible futon sofa in the living area, and a flat-screen TV for your convenience. A full-size washer and dryer, as well as a newer fridge, are located in the fully equipped kitchen. Or, if you are more of an outdoor cook, there is a gas BBQ outside on the ocean view deck, which has ample room for dining and relaxing. A full bathroom is also featured.
Things to Note
The second bedroom with two singles is perfect for kids or adults who don’t mind a tight squeeze. Please note this is the DOWNSTAIRS unit of an upstairs/downstairs duplex. There is a friendly outdoor cat on the one-acre property. There are about 30 stairs to reach Alia's place, and it is not handicap accessible.
You will be in a tropical jungle in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We share our island with friendly critters like geckos. They are harmless and yes, they are lime green... But if you have any aversion to them, be warned, you will see them and possibly a dead bug or two. We do outdoor extermination twice a month to keep on top of it as much as possible.
